Join Now and Help Transform Our Culture and Politics for Maximum Liberty for ALL!
This is not a revolution of arms. This is a revolution of ideas. A revolution of the hearts, minds and souls of the citizens (and soon-to-be citizens) of this amazing country.
Why Revolution Today now?
The past is the past and it is quite informative. However, we have the opportunity to choose our own today and envision our own future untethered from the past. Not easy, but I believe a necessary view to build a world of individual Liberty and Happiness and respect for each other’s Liberty and Happiness.
We can’t continue to use the actual atrocities and traumas of the past (as hurtful as their stings may still be) or the faux idolization of a past that never existed to say we can’t change our Today! Doing so is to admit that we would rather stymie our progress to rehash the old then to look straight to a future that works for each and every one us.
There’s no guarantees in life, we may not have tomorrow so, loving today, simply existing today, may be the biggest revolution.
Waking up today is the blessing! Let’s celebrate that .
This is the time for big ideas. For creative solutions. We can experiment.
We have the opportunity to be the new founding mothers and fathers of the United States of America that we want for ourselves today.
I believe in all 336 million of us Americans, citizens and immigrants, together. And my goal is to deliver a message of hope for building a future based on individual Liberty and respect for what we have in common, as well as respect for our most beautiful differences.
I am talking to you if you are young or old, or somewhere in-between. I’m talking to you if you are American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or White, or a race or ethnicity not listed here, and of course, if you are mixed. I am talking to you if you are a natural born citizen, a naturalized citizen, or a recent immigrant. I am talking to you no matter your abilities or disabilities. I am talking to you if you are straight or LGBTQ+. I am talking to you if you are rich or poor, or somewhere in-between. I am talking to you if the accident of your birth has only delivered to you easy days, or unimaginable hardship and loss.
And I want to hear from all 336 million of you. What do you want in this life? How do you define Liberty? How do you define Happiness? What is important to you? I want to listen and start to know.
For those who are 18 years and older, I believe each of you possesses all the knowledge you need to lead your life without anyone else telling you what to do. Each of us has a different background. Each of us is on a different journey. Along the way, there are many great unknowns. The fear, confusion and anxiety that may bring is understandable. It is human.
Fortunately, it’s also human to not be driven into our actions by fear, confusion and anxiety. Instead, I propose that we learn to drive our actions by love. In fact, I have a mantra for Revolution Today that I hope each of you can make a small part of your daily life: No Fear, Only Love.
I believe in Virtue as our Founders would have: consisting of characteristics such as honesty, courage, compassion, generosity, fidelity, integrity, fairness, self-control, and prudence. These are not religious virtues. They are moral, ethical and based on our shared humanity.
The first critique of this movement will be that it’s hard, if not impossible to change our current cultural and political environment. If it’s impossible, and we’re on an inevitable road to our own demise, then why do anything? And the cultural and political milieu is always changing and is quite dynamic, whether we like it not, or feel in control of it or not. So it’s easy to say that this is possible, but also recognize that with clear eyes it will be hard.
However, hard does not mean abandoning the project before we begin. Or abandoning it after we begin and find little early progress. Hard is the realization that there is a lot of worthwhile work to do. Hard sets the mind right that this is a long-term project where wanted results come at an uneven pace. I’m not scared of hard, I’m outright frightened at the prospect of never trying.
This is about action! And action at every level of government: local, state and federal. I’m super impressed with the number of you discussing why things are the way they are. However, there is no cohesive call to action. There seems to be lots of education, but no effort towards persuasion. There’s lots of identifying problems, but almost no proposed solutions. I hope that with you, we can change that with real proposal and real solutions and real debate in order to start a Revolution Today.
A new civil, cultural and political language.
This is my first time sharing these thoughts! Here are the topics and themes I want to drive forward.
A new civil, cultural and political language.
What I want for me:
To live my life freely as I see fit—Maximum Liberty for me
To be provided the basic dignity of being a living human being
To have the conviction to let you live your life as you see fit
No fear. Only love.
What I want for for you:
To live your life freely as you see fit—Maximum Liberty for you
To provide others the basic dignity of being a living human being
To have the conviction to let others live their life as they see fit
No fear. Only love.
I want to know what you want in life. The connections you desire. The opportunities you seek.
I want you to believe whatever you want to believe. I want the next person to believe whatever they want to believe. I recognize the contradiction in what I’m about to say next, if your belief includes not allowing the next person their belief, then you and I have beef. You are morally and ethically wrong in your position to control another person and I will call you out from here to my last breath.
So, I can’t stop you from having your morally repugnant position that you believe you can tell someone else what to do
However, I can work really hard to help the person you’re trying to control know they have every right to tell you to pound sand.
You are of course more than welcome to persuade someone to your position. Once persuasion becomes coercion, you have crossed a line.
You cannot erase another person from the public sphere. Every individual is allowed the right to exist based on the dignity afforded being a human.
No one is forcing you to engage.
All of your civic rights, responsibilities and duties start on your 18th birthday
Parents/Guardians are the only ones with say over their minor charges
If you are not a parent/guardian of a minor charge, then you have no say in what happens to that minor
For better or worse, some parent/guardians might not be aligned with the wishes of their minor. That minor has no recourse but to follow the wishes of their parent/guardian.
Ok, one recourse is they can get emancipated
The ultimate recourse is the day the minor turns 18, they are no longer bound by any of the wishes of their Parent/Guardian, and the minor is fully in charge of leading their own life as they see fit.
Stop controlling others. Put away the tools of control, the most powerful which is shame. Do not judge others. Or do it in your head and move on.
If someone is shaming you, feel free to tell them to pound sand. You don't need to be controlled. You know how to live your life. So live it.
Changing your mind is the most energetically difficult act one can perform. First, you have to have space to challenge your belief. That takes work. Then having challenged your belief, you need to admit to yourself that the idea you hold is wrong or flawed. This is the most taxing exercise. Then you have to interpret the new belief and make it your own. Still more work. Nor is the work instant. It takes time to change. Sometimes the change does come in an instant; however, it can often take weeks, months or even years. Don't worry, through, it's worth spending this energy on your self.
You can hold two or more ideas in tension at once. Not everything is simple or binary. In fact, most things aren't. And while that tension can cause fear, anxiety or confusion, that's ok. Appreciate your feelings. However, your feelings don't have to drive your actions.
I don't understand why anyone feels they need a enemy, more TC.
Let’s talk about the history of humanity and how we got here, where we want to go, and how to get there.
Let’s read the Constitution, again!
Provide for the common good.
Well regulated; let’s regulate!
Government shouldn’t do everything. The things we ask the government to do, it should do well.
Classical liberal capitalism, the famed Adam Smith and his invisible hand, starts with the commons. Taking from the commons and not replenishing it is theft.
It should go without saying, but it does need to be said, a dollar earned through capital is not less valuable than a dollar earned through labor, so let’s tax every marginal dollar the same.
I just want the people who make more money than me to pay at least the same percentage of taxes.

Lies. Damn Lies. And Statistics
Metrics!!!
We are all safer than we’ve ever been, especially in densely populated areas compared to less dense areas.
The different outcomes across the country are shocking. Yet, we always nationalize the conversation and average it all out, versus breaking it apart who is doing better. What do you mean better???!!!
Life expectancy
Health outcomes
Happiness
Education
Savings and wealth
Be moral, not moralistic.
The number to times the word God or Jesus appears in the
Declaration of Independence = Not quite 0, but not exactly 2 either
Nature’s God, the Deist concept of, “the philosophical position and rationalistic theology[5] that generally rejects revelation as a source of divine knowledge, and asserts that empirical reason and observation of the natural world are exclusively logical, reliable, and sufficient to determine the existence of a Supreme Being as the creator of the universe.[11] More simply stated, Deism is the belief in the existence of God (often, but not necessarily, a God who does not intervene in the universe after creating it),[8][12] solely based on rational thought without any reliance on revealed religions or religious authority.[13] Deism emphasizes the concept of natural theology—that is, God's existence is revealed through nature (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deism).
Creator, but not God and definitely not Jesus
Laws of Nature is not Plato’s concept of Natural Law nor is it the Orthodox Church or Catholic Church and their descendants’ concept of Natural Law as derived from God. This Laws of Nature is derived from Reason. At the most reductive point, it doesn’t matter whether the Laws of Nature come from God, Nature or Reason, simply put these are the rights inherent to every human based on the accident of their birth. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_law)
In fact, Jefferson goes out of his to make sure we know that our separation from England and the future government we are embarking on does not come from the Judeo-Christian-Islamic God, but rather the people, “...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed….” While the Declaration of Independence has no actual power of law or governing, it makes clear where the journey started in 1776 and the subsequent path that took us to a Constitution of Laws separate from God and created by Humans based on reason alone.
Constitution of the United States = 0

A few mentions of Providence, but Providence is not God, Providence is the ancient Roman gods, and definitely no mention of Jesus
Taking God’s name in vain is invoking God for anything for other than a statement of truth
Statements of truth
If you believe in God, then saying God is the one and only is a truth and not taking God’s name in vain
On an oath to the truth of a statement, such as, “I swear to God that my recollection of an event is true.”
Statements taking God’s name in Vain
God spoke to me and told me…
God wants…
God damn you! (basically another version of thinking you know what God wants)
The takeaway, God speaks for God, you don’t speak for God
The Bible as a weapon of the Roman rulers to quell their subjects is quite scary
When Christianity becomes about coercion through the laws of the world, it ceases to become Christianity as explained by the Bible through the Apostles and the words of Jesus.
In Jesus’ own words “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36). So please stop trying to make his kingdom in this world.
Everyone cherry picks the passages out of the bible that supports their argument, and ignores or writes off as no longer applying the passages they don't find useful. The whole thing is contradiction after contradiction, and the only way to make those contradictions go away to support your view is to fully ignore that which you don't like. It's all rather hypocritical, but again, believe whatever you want, don't coerce me to believe it or make it my law.
Believe whatever you want. Try to convert whoever you want. Do not coerce, including using our laws to do it.
The philosophical cultural argument against actual individual liberty almost universally presupposes that individual Liberty walks hand-in-hand with private interest. This is a Lie.
The author, Dr. Kevin Vance, argues, “A politics that aims only at preserving private interests in a culture that worships the autonomous self will tend to preserve the private domination of the weak by the strong.”
But that assumes that individuals can’t use reason alone to find that working together is better than working alone, that only Natural Law leads to virtue. The fact is, reason alone leads to morals and virtue, humans don’t need anything else. Pretending that religion isn’t just in fact human reasoning drawing its own conclusions doesn’t make the weakness of this centuries old argument go away.
Once you go all the way down the reason rabbit hole, the only conclusion is that reason alone explains human morals and human virtue. So we can take the false premise stated above and turn it into a true statement, “A politics that aims at preserving public interests in a culture that affirms the rights of the autonomous self will tend to preserve the public end of Liberty and Equality for all.”The two party system is the bane of our existence and probably the natural order of things. That said, Hamilton’s ideas of temporary factions that ebb and flow would weaken the parties (Federalist 10).
This is what I propose. The Democratic Party does not exist for the benefit of the people of the United States. It exists solely to maintain the power of the Democratic Party. The Republican Party does not exist for the benefit of the people of the United State4s. It exists solely to maintain the power of the Republican Party.
We get sucked into rooting for a team. I think we need to root for each other. I don’t care how you politically identify, with a D or an R or an I. However, I do believe we must transcend these Parties and their labels by believing in each other and seeking out factions to move forward with our good ideas and new experiments.
Not only do the Two Parties exist for themselves over the people, the popular commentariat across all media only exists within their combined orbs. The pundits, the commentators, the opinion writers, the think tank “experts” are not discussing solutions to our problems. Instead, they cheer on one of the Two Parties and bash the other. They have no other reason to exist.
I propose we find new pundies, new commentators, new opinion writer and new think tank “experts” who move beyond being cheerleaders and start helping us think big and creatively and help come up with experiments to follow that will deliver greater Liberty and promoting Life, Property and Happiness. On the American Empire. Hamilton foresaw it. Do we really need it? I’m not for or against it here, but I do believe it’s a national discussion that should be had.
Whether we have an Empire or not, we must end the Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex. The MICC is as perverse as the Two Parties. Like the Two Parties, the MICC does not exist for the benefit of the people of the United States. It exists solely to maintain the power of the MICC.
Ideas of Manhood, and what it means to be a man have been corrupted by the idea that there is only one way to be a man. There’s also a strong corollary of Womanhood and what it means to be a woman today; however, my expertise on such things only goes so far. I’m not really the audience for the womanhood argument.
That said, the idea that there’s one performative way to be a Man or a Woman is absolutely wrong and shockingly disgusting. The people floating these pernicious ideas all seem to be working from a place of their own, and then exploit the fears and anxieties of their audiences. The fears and anxieties appear to arise from a fear of losing power and status. These are ancient fears.
There might even be a biological predisposition for a certain percentage of the population to have these fears and anxieties (While mostly conjecture on my part, there have been some studies on fear and conservatives and liberals that hint at a biological factor, but nothing definitive or repeatable).
As to those ancient fears of losing power and status, the truth is, most people ascribing the creed of One Way to Manhood never had either, nor will they likely have either. They are chasing a ghost from an imagined past they never participated in or benefited from.
I’d like to help them stop being afraid and anxious, or at least to see that fear and anxiety are natural, but your reaction does not have to be reactionary, rigid and coercive.
There’s space for a wide variety of definitions of Manhood and Womanhooh; hopefully, all ending in Personhood. That personhood being our individual humanity. The dignity that each of us deserves to live our life as we each see fit simply because we are a human being fortunate enough to wake up today.
To those who ascribe to the One Way to Manhood, I want to share a simple message: No fear, Only love.I’ve been advised to keep this movement focused on class only, and ignore race. I can’t do that. I’m certainly not the perfect face for this movement, but I feel called to do it. And my goal is that this quickly spreads beyond me to include all of you who believe in individual Maximum Liberty and its countenance to a healthy, functioning public good.
This is my first post and covers just some of the things I think our important to discuss. From here on out, my future communications will be about this individual themes and how piece-by-piece, they can rally us around transforming our society and government to protect our individual dignity as human beings and guarantee our liberties as inhabitants of the United States.
